POLICE will prepare a report for the Coroner following a motorcycling fatality in the Blue Mountains on Sunday morning.
The accident occurred about 10am on Sunday, November 27 on Chifley Road, west of Darling Causeway at Bell, when the motorcycle left the road and hit a tree.
The male rider sustained multiple injuries and died at the scene.
A crime scene has been established and is being examined by officers from Blue Mountains Local Area Command.
The rider is believed to be a man in his 50s from Sydney; formal identification is pending.
