Mary Moody, author, television and radio presenter, will be the guest speaker at Lower Blue Mountains Rotary’s Community meeting on Tuesday, February 21.
Such community dinner meetings have proved very popular in the past with capacity audiences gathering to enjoy addresses from such people as Deng Adut, Simon Marnie, Jennifer Stackhouse, Chris Smith, Fred Watson and Peter Toohey.
Lower Blue Mountains Rotary meets at the Emu Plains Sports Club on Tuesday nights – 6.30 for 7pm – and visitors are always welcome.
With more than 40 gardening books, four memoirs and many unique experiences as the long time host of Gardening Australia, Mary Moody is an outstanding speaker and raconteur.
She trained as a journalist with the Australian Women’s Weekly before carving her own niche in radio and television. She now lives at Yetholme near Bathurst in NSW but still maintains her French house in the village of Frayssinet-le-Gelat, France.
People keen to attend the evening should book now with Rotarian Heather Chourlianis on 0424 002 314; or Rotary President Pamela Noal on 0447 778 870.
