A two-car accident occurred this morning [Friday May 19] at about 9.30 in heavy rain and foggy conditions on the Great Western Highway at Wentworth Falls near Tablelands Road.
Traffic westbound was heavy after what witnesses described as a two car T-bone accident.
The Gazette understands two people were transported to Nepean Hospital in a stable condition. The driver of one vehicle was trapped for a short time requiring the the removal of a door.
Police Rescue, Fire and Ambulance vehicles were in attendance. Live Traffic has not identified the spot as a traffic problem, although initially traffic was banked back going west from Bullaburra.
