The fire in the free-standing fibro garage in Robertswood Avenue was believed to have started from an electrical fault, possibly from a washing machine, said Blue Mountains Police Inspector Peter Scheinflug.

“Nobody was hurt, but it had the potential to be nasty,” Insp Scheinflug said.
