A vibrant new radio arts program showcasing local creative talent will begin broadcasting weekly on RBM 89.1 from next Thursday.
ArtHouse will feature regular 30-minute hosted sessions on such diverse art forms as dance, costume and crime fiction through to visual arts, textiles, photography and poetry with more genres being added as the creative community embraces the project.
Each week a panel will discuss various themes and topics such as art and resilience, sourcing of venues, marketing your work, sustainability and many other relevant hot topics. There will also be interviews and discussion of exhibitions and events plus opportunities for others to host specialist sessions, be interviewed or contribute in a variety of ways.
Ankers was quick to praise the involvement of her production team - Justin Morrissey (Toolo), David Rex-Livingston (Rex-Livingston Gallery), Amanda Kaye (Brandcamp), Faye Wilson (illustrator), Chris Cannell (Music in the Mountains) and dance teacher and performer, Annalouise Paul, plus many others who act in an advisory capacity.
