Emu Island: Modernism in Place spring exhibition runs until November 19.
Penrith Regional Gallery and the Lewers Bequest in Emu Plains had a successful weekend opening recently [September 16-17] to mark 75 years of Modernist art.
The gallery site was an island of modernism in the Australian suburbs.
The weekend opening featured heritage garden talks and public forums. The band Jazz Daiquiri also played and specialist flowers and plants were offered up for sale.
