Blue Mountains artisans will take centre stage at the inaugural Makers Market – 2017 Christmas Edition.
To be held at Scenic World’s Skyway Park from 10am-4pm on December 9, more than 20 stalls from local artisans will be featured.
We’re lucky to have such an incredible calibre of artists and craftspeople in our own backyard.
Stalls include art, photography, jewellery, fashion, homewares and natural beauty products.
Visitors can enjoy live music and face painting, and meet artisans who have handcrafted products in the Blue Mountains.
A selection of delicious snacks will also be on offer, along with brewed coffee and more. Pets are also welcome. Scenic World’s head of marketing and events, Amanda Byrne, said the market provided a unique opportunity.
“We’re lucky to have such an incredible calibre of artists and craftspeople in our own backyard, and the Makers Market will provide a new opportunity to showcase these talents to our visitors from near and far,” Ms Byrne said.
“Our long-term partnership with Mtns Made has been incredibly well received by Scenic World visitors from across the globe, and the Makers Market will help us to further extend our support for the Blue Mountains creative industries which is such a core part of our unique mountains lifestyle.”
Everyone is welcome to join in the celebrations and pick up a range of unique gifts, suitable for all ages, just in time for Christmas.
Scenic World is located on the corner of Violet Street and Cliff Drive, Katoomba. Visit scenicworld.com.au for further details.
