Police have appealed to the Blue Mountains community for information after several firearms were stolen from a Glenbrook home on Monday.
At about 9.45am on March 6, a woman locked and secured her home in Dellview Street before leaving.
Upon her return six hours later, the woman noticed that items had been moved and a side door to the garage had been forced.
Four firearms were stolen from a gun safe, along with a quantity of ammunition.
A Tikka T3 Tactical 308 rifle, a CZ .22 rifle, a Beretta 12 gauge shotgun and a Winchester rifle with scope were all stolen.
The woman notified police and Blue Mountains officers attended the home.
Police wish to speak with anyone who may have any information relating to the theft of the firearms.
