The new Blue Mountains Geographical Encyclopaedia has just arrived from the printers and will be launched on March 26.
This 544-page reference book has the origins and locations of 2,700 Mountains place names, including towns, waterfalls, caves, pools, lookouts, walking tracks and much more. It comes in hard cover with a dust jacket and includes 180 colour photos.
It is a must for anyone interested in the Mountains, be it resident or curious visitor.
The book has been a long labour of love for authors John and Brian Fox and Michael Keats. It will be launched on Monday, March 26 at 10am at the Blue Mountains Historical Society meeting room, 99 Blaxland Road, Wentworth Falls, where you can meet the authors.
