More than 200 people enjoyed a movie under the stars when Blaxland Public School held a community movie night on Saturday, March 17.
Organised by the P&C, the special event was held in the school grounds at Baden Place.
Families enjoyed a barbecue before a screening of the hit animated movie, Up.
The 2009 Pixar film tells the story of an elderly widower Carl Fredricksen and a young boy, Russell , who go on an adventure when Carl’s house takes flight after thousands of balloons are tied to the home.
“It was a wonderful, magical evening with balloons, popcorn and picnic blankets on the school oval under the stars where visitors could spend quality time with family and friends,” said a school spokeswoman.
