Rare classic cars from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s are rolling back in Springwood on Saturday, April 28 for the Foundation Day Festival.
Springwood Motor World will clear the lot to showcase beauties such as two retro Mustangs, a 1963 Ford Fairlane (convertible), an HG Holden Wagon, a Holden LC Torana, a Dodge Challenger, a classic Porsche plus many more.
Big crowds of locals and visitors are expected to enjoy the show and feel a little nostalgic, sparking memories of their family cars growing up.
“Last year’s show was a great success,” said owner, Charles Hudson. “We love showing off all the old cars and it takes me back in time to when I bought my first car, a 1964 EH Holden.”
Classic cars are still in high demand around the world with a huge resurgence in prices over the past decade. Experts in Australia predict the value of Holden “classic cars” are expected to rise even further due to the closure of local manufacturing in Adelaide last year.
The Classic Car Show will be open from 9am-2pm at Springwood Motor World on Saturday, April 28.
