The man was charged with possessing a barrel for a firearm unless authorised by licence, receiving a firearm/barrel by mail and possessing a prescribed restricted substance. He is to appear before Penrith Local Court on August 9.

Road rage
Police have appealed for witnesses to a road rage incident in Blaxland in June.
Just before 3.30pm on June 9, a group of Finks outlaw motorcycle gang members and associates were travelling citybound on motorcycles and in cars on the highway at Blaxland when they became involved in an altercation with the occupants of a white BMW at traffic lights at Layton Avenue.
Police were told the BMW and one of the bikes collided, causing the rider to come off the bike. He was not injured. Some of the group then hit and kicked the BMW while the occupants remained inside, police said.
Police are appealing for anyone who was at the location at the time and not yet spoken to police, to come forward to report it directly to investigators via the Strike Force Raptor online reporting page: https://www1.police.nsw.gov.au/Default.aspx?id=49 or call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
