“How satisfying it is when you can say that Lloyds Property Valuations has had a presence in Blaxland for the last 23 years and we are still going strong,” Trevor Lloyd OAM said.
From starting in a home office, then moving into an office in Blaxland, the business now offers residential and commercial valuations through the Mountains, Hawkesbury and Penrith and Blacktown Council areas with three valuers and two office staff.
Mr Lloyd said he stands by his plans to take every opportunity to train other valuers to add to the list of valuers that have been trained at Lloyds, who have gone on to become specialist valuers in their own right. “Catherine Hutchison is the senior valuer in the office and it is hoped that someday I will be able to pass over the mantle of leadership to her.
“Lloyds Property Valuations is a family. We have not only trained our staff from the ground up but we also treat our clients in a way that will make them feel comfortable with their investment decisions. We put the facts in their hands to give them a transparent view of the valuation process,” Mr Lloyd said.
“Every part of our business serves the community, whether it is via service clubs, Cancer Council, public speaker training or helping with the 2013 Crossing of the Blue Mountains, we have been there. We value our community as much as we value properties.” Mr Lloyd was also President of the Blaxland Chamber of Commerce for five years.
