Low Carbon Living is committed to helping people reduce carbon footprints.
A Climate Change Leaders Challenge Fundship event on Thursday (August 9) will feature speakers to give strategies on how to reduce carbon use.
The event is on at Gallery 188 in Katoomba St on Thursday from 5-7pm. It will also feature food, art and live music.
The Low Carbon Living program and website – part of the Blue Mountains World Heritage Institute – supports schools and small to medium sized businesses in the Mountains to reduce their carbon footprint. Everyone can reduce their own carbon footprint by supporting these schools and businesses too.
The program is looking to grow its membership base and raise much needed funds to continue our work in tackling climate change.
Your household, school or business can join our Low Carbon living program at a discounted rate during our crowdfund campaign. So come along. This will be a fun and extremely worthwhile community event - and please bring your friends.
