Winmalee Public students recently planted natives for Planet Ark's Tree Day and cleaned up an overgrown outdoor classroom area as part of Keep Australia Beautiful Week.
Winmalee Public School has been involved in many great environmental initiatives recently. They have a Nature's Ninjas group who have Bin Ninja (a bin dressed up as a Ninja) being pulled around on Wednesday Waste Watchers Day, the Year Four’s have planted 14 natives for Planet Ark's Tree Day (with donated plants and equipment from Bunnings Valley Heights) and on August 22 they cleaned up an overgrown outdoor classroom area as part of Keep Australia Beautiful Week. The school grounds are looking spectacular
