The Tibetan flag will fly over Blue Mountains Council chambers next year to mark the 60th anniversary of the Tibetan uprising against invasion by China. Councillors unanimously voted last week to show support for the Tibetan people, including the refugees who now live in the Mountains, by raising the flag on March 10 next year and in all future years. The motion was raised by Greens Cr Kerry Brown.
