Frank Boyle is one of 13 artists opening their studio doors to the public on November 17-18 during the Blue Mountains Arts Trail.
Boyle was earning a living as a sheet-metal worker then decided to enrol in an arts course at TAFE.
“I enjoyed it so much I went on to complete a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the National Art School,” he said.
The upcoming Arts Trail will be the first time Boyle has opened his Hazelbrook studio to the public. Artists from Woodford to Mount Victoria open their doors for the Blue Mountains Arts Trail on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 November from 10am-4pm.
The trail gives the public a unique opportunity to go behind the scenes and meet real, passionate artists who pour so much of their heart and soul into their work.
