German adventure film Into Twin Galaxies follows adventurers Ben Stookesberry, Sarah McNair-Landry and Erik Boomer on an extreme mission in Greenland.
Using kite skis, the trio tow their white-water kayaks 1,000km over the Greenland ice cap to reach the northernmost river ever paddled.
With spectacular cinematography, remote wilderness and a large amount of suffering, this film shows what it’s like to be far out of your comfort zone.
It’s one of several exciting Mountain sports films from around the globe being shown in the Radical Reels tour. It hits The Edge in Katoomba on Wednesday, November 21 with three hours of adrenaline-pumping, action-packed films that will have audience members on the edge of their seats.
The festival is the Banff Mountain Film Festival’s more outrageous, adventurous little sibling as elite athletes and adventurers conquer their challenges and dreams.
