Katoomba High School’s art exhibition was opened by Blackheath artist and parent, Robert Malherbe, who gave an inspirational and insightful speech about being an artist and being immersed in the art world.
The exhibition showcased outstanding HSC works and art from years 7 to 11. The strong turnout was a real testament to the parents and the local community who value the arts and creativity.
Melissa Grahovac, head teacher of creative arts at the school, said it was a brilliant way to celebrate and connect with all involved.
“This will be an annual event, the first of many,” she said.
