Brisbane Roar goalkeeper Jamie Young says he and his teammates are 100 per cent behind John Aloisi and will turn around the club's underwhelming A-League form.
A 2-0 loss to Newcastle on Sunday has left the Roar floundering second-last on the competition ladder with just one win from seven matches.
The Roar's poor start has put pressure on Aloisi, who is in his third season at the club.
It doesn't get any easier for the Roar this week, with in-form Melbourne Victory heading north to face Aloisi's men at Suncorp Stadium on Friday.
Led by overseas stars Keisuke Honda and Ola Toivenen, the defending A-League champions have notched five wins in a row to climb to second on the ladder.
Young wants his teammates to see the clash with the Victory as an opportunity, rather than something to be feared.
"We've got the bit between our teeth. We're looking to strive for something," Young said.
"It hasn't gone our way and we're looking do well, we're a highly motivated group. This week is a great opportunity for that."
The Roar will be boosted by talismanic striker Adam Taggart completing training on Tuesday after having to come off the bench against the Jets due to a groin niggle.
Attacking midfielder Stefan Mauk also trained as he continues to recover from a concussion sustained in a 2-1 loss to Adelaide.
