At Blaxland High School, the year 8 visual arts class have been investigating Australian street artists, focusing on the art of Buff Diss who uses tape as a medium.
The students worked in groups to install temporary artwork around the school, making creative designs using only masking tape.
Visual arts teacher Skye Wright wrote the program on Australian street art after viewing the Outpost Project exhibition at Cockatoo Island featuring Buff Diss' art.
"The use of tape allows for students to install, collaborate and consider the temporary nature of the work that will change over time. Students love experimenting and being free to think creatively and problem solve without fear of getting something wrong," she said.
