For the first time in Australia, internationally renowned The Williams Brothers will celebrate all the number one hits of The Everly Brothers and other rock 'n' roll greats of the 50s and 60s.
For one show only at the Joan on Saturday, April 27, the magical sounds of The Everly Brothers come alive again with the talented duo.
Supported by their own multi-award winning band The Shy Guys, this show is a non-stop journey through the greatest songs of all time.
The Williams Brothers are the sons of one of Australia's leading rock 'n' roll pioneers, Warren Williams, and were born to carry on the tradition of one of the greatest eras in music history.
The first half of the show recounts the story and music of brothers Don and Phil Everly, whose songs and harmony were the inspiration to some of music's most popular vocal groups including the Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, The Beach Boys and the Hollies.
In the second half of the show, The Williams Brothers present the songs of the rock 'n' roll legends with the hits of Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis and Australia's Johnny O'Keefe, as well as the songs of The Bee Gees, The Eagles, The Beatles, The Monkees and The Hollies to name a few.
This is a show not to be missed. At the Joan on Saturday, April 27 at 8pm. Tickets at www.thejoan.com.au or 4723 7600.
