With changing seasonal colours all around and mild daytime temperatures, autumn is the ideal time to be relaxing outdoors.
In celebration of the season the Rotary Club of Springwood invite you to an open garden day at The Old Farm, 35 Purvines Road, Yellow Rock on Sunday, May 19 from 10am-4pm which will also feature performances by some of the Blue Mountains' talented high school musicians.
Robin Ingram of Springwood Rotary said The Old Farm was an "acreage sized garden designed to replicate the landscape styles of years gone by".

"It features low dry rock walls, sandstone paved paths and courtyards, gravel driveways, timber pergolas, tea houses, ferneries, pavilions and cottage gardens which all embellish the old world country theme," Ms Ingram said. "There is also an Asian inspired garden, a wisteria colonnade and extensive water features.
"At the moment the gold, claret and orange coloured crisp leaves of the deciduous trees are starting to fall and the tall salvias, sasanqua camellias, roses, canna lillies and lavender are bursting into blossom, making a fabulous palette of colour."
Ms Ingram said the garden is what remains of the old Purvine family passionfruit farm from the late 1950s.
Visitors can bring a picnic lunch and their own refreshments.
Cost is $5 per person and proceeds from the day will be distributed to the music departments of those schools performing on the day.
