Calling all children, the Valley Heights Rail Museum's open day on Sunday, May 19, will be a teddy bear day out.
Free admission for children 16 or under with their teddy bear (accompanied by an adult - please note maximum four children per adult).
At 11am, noon, 1.30pm and 2.30pm wave teddy off on a thrilling adventure on the Teddy Bear Express (all care taken that your prized possession will return safe and sound).
Take a 20-minute ride on the steam tram with teddy by your side. Climb on engines and carriages and listen to Harry and Charlie as they prepare for the day's work on their 100-year-old steam loco. New interpretive child-friendly signage helps introduce many of the large exhibits to budding fans.
Plus all the museum's fantastic exhibits, including two great model train layouts, artworks and more are open for all to enjoy.
Open from 10am until 4pm with last ride at 3.30. Tickets can be pre-booked on the website: valleyheightsrailmuseum.info.
