Springwood-based singing duo Ben and Geoff Robertson have taken out the prestigious Club Performer of the Year award at the 21st annual Australian Club Entertainment (ACE) Awards last week at Panthers Penrith.
The Robertson Brothers initially won the vocal group category and then capped the night off by taking home the biggest award of the night, 2018 Club Performer of the Year.
The event was held at the Evan Theatre, Panthers Penrith, on Tuesday May 7.
The boys graciously accepted the major award, thanking long-time supporters, including Ray Hadley.
"Geoff and I are deeply honoured to be perceived so highly by our friends and associates within the club entertainment industry," said Ben Robertson. "Thank you so much."
The Robertson Brothers TV Variety Show features songs by The Bee Gees, The Everly Brothers and Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. It is currently touring nationally. The show guest stars Simon Brook McLachlan from the original cast of Jersey Boys, as Frankie Valli.
The Robertson Brothers will finish their tour in their home town of Springwood at the Hub in November. They also have a show at Panthers on Saturday August 31.
The Australian Club Entertainment Awards are open to entertainers who have worked in the club industry in the previous 12 months of the 2018 calendar year and are acknowledged within the nominated categories.
