Autumn in the Upper Mountains is particularly fiery this year, with the Japanese maples, cherries and other deciduous trees putting on a brilliant display.
Tourists are posing for hundreds of photos - lying in piles of leaves, setting up selfies and, unfortunately, too often deciding the street is the best angle. Car drivers are ever alert.
And it's pretty good lower down the hill, too, with a wonderful turning Corridor of Oaks in Faulconbridge.
