The Blue Mountains Creative Arts Network is calling for nominations for the Blue Mountains Creative Leaders awards.

Nominations are sought in the following categories: visual arts, artisans, performing arts, film and video, writing and music.

The committee is also calling for nominations for an award to a community arts organisation that has made the most significant contribution to the creative arts sector in the Mountains.

The winner will be selected on the basis of their promotion of the creative arts sector, engagement with the community and activities and events undertaken in 2018-19.

Nominations close on August 2. For further information and nomination form, contact the committee's secretariat: Barbara.lepani@bmcan.com.au.

An independent selection panel will determine the winners. Individuals will be assessed on their proven excellence and promotion of engagement with their chosen art form category in the wider community, and mentorship of others.
