Planning has begun for the 25th annual Blue Mountains Music Festival of Folk, Roots and Blues to be held in March 2020.
With the return of the RSL Blues Room and Pavillion Stages, it promises to be another amazing festival. Organisers are already fielding applications from around the globe as well as planning to showcase many Blue Mountain acts.
This year's festival, held from March 15-17, featured many locals including musical adventurists, The Spooky Men's Chorale, who are renowned for their festival appearances around Australia and the UK. Singer-songwriter and country music legend Allan Caswell gave two memorable concerts while other local highlights included the sultry sounds of Rachael Brady and her Moonshine Special big band, the popular Three Handed Beat Bandits and travelling troubadours, Copperline. Rounding out the local performers was the Friday night Carrington Forecourt Stage presentation of four outstanding youth acts, ANDIE, Piccolo Bear and Tally Ho & The 10-to-go's.
Local musicians are urged to go online (bmff.org.au) and get their applications in and be part of this wonderful festival.
Tickets go on sale for the festival October 1. The Early Bird Ticket offer is limited so mark your calendar and grab a bargain.
