For more than 100 years St Canice's Primary School, Katoomba has provided quality Catholic education for children in the Blue Mountains.
The school was established in 1901 by the Sisters of Charity and moved to the church parish grounds in 1941.
School principal Mark Geerligs said students at St Canice's experience Catholic values in every aspect of schooling, from the learning spaces to the playground.
"We focus on the whole child, aiming to help them grow and thrive academically, physically, emotionally and in their faith," Mr Geerligs said.

Mr Geerligs said St Canice's provided access for all students to digital learning and every student from Year 2 to Year 6 was given their own Chromebook.
"The arts is a very important aspect of life in Katoomba and therefore it's an important part of the curriculum of St Canice's," Mr Geerligs said.
"Each year the school has a sculpture exhibition which provides a chance for all students to not only create a sculptural piece, but also a piece of writing about their creation.
"Being engaged in one's learning is a key to success."
The school will host a cake stall, barbecue and giant raffle in its grounds at 158 Katoomba Street, Katoomba from 9am-2pm on Saturday, July 27 when guided tours will also be available.
