A band of young local musicians is raising the roof to raise vital funds for cancer research.
The one-night only concert, Rock Your Sister, will donate all proceeds to Australian charity Love Your Sister's efforts to vanquish cancer.
Rock Your Sister is being held on Saturday, August 10 at the Lighthouse Theatre (Orchard Hills) and tickets are on sale now.
The special event is the brainchild of Glenbrook resident Noah Rayner. He is joined by Alex Casalini (rhythm guitar), Daniel Hull (lead guitar), Tom Weaver (keyboard) and Bronte Rayner (bass), all local musical theatre veterans who are trading song and dance for rock and roll - for one night only. Their dynamic young drummer Joel Walker is bringing a sold rock background to drive the set list home.
Samuel Johnson OAM (Victorian Australian of the Year, Gold Logie winner and winner of Dancing With the Stars 2019) is the public face of Love Your Sister and he has set $10 million directly in his sights this year in his quest to eliminate cancer. Rock Your Sister aims to help him reach this goal.
Tickets are $20 each or two for $30 and are available from TryBooking: www.trybooking.com/519095, or search 'Rock Your Sister'.
