Music Hunter presents the Declan Kelly Trio at the School of Arts in Wentworth Falls on Saturday, August 24.
Kelly is a versatile musician and well known for his multiple collaborations with loads of Aussie musicians including Katie Noonan, Alex Lloyd, Emma Donovan and Radical Son.
Appearing in his trio will be Winstone Stephenson on bass and vocals and Ian Mussington on drums and vocals.
Kelly's new album features a collection of works inspired by the number of great artists he has worked and collaborated with in the past. Recorded at his studio in Surry Hills, it also features recent singles Carry me and Take me in Tonight.
Kelly was born in Sydney, Australia to an Irish father and Maori mother. His mother, Salley, a singer, exposed Kelly to the life of a musician and instruments from an early age and he took to the drums and guitar, singing to come later in his life.
Miriam Lieberman will perform a solo set in support on the night.
