Camellias in all shapes and sizes will be entered in the competition and on display, as will the delicate hues of cherry, plum, peach and crabapple blossom.
Bold yellow forsythia, majestic magnolia and pretty new maple foliage are also bound to be exhibited, as will some stunning native waratahs, proteas, wattles and banksias.
There is a floral arrangement competition and best veges and school groups are being encouraged to make a mini garden in a box.
In the top hall will be the crafts, from baking to relishes, jams and pickles. Adorned around the walls will be the results of hours and hours of spinning, weaving, knitting, embroidery, crochet and quilting.
This year there is also a photography competition, $10 per entry, on the subject of plant patterns in nature. Entries from bhdsinc89@gmail.com.
