Fusion Boutique & Blackheath Bar & Bistro present Gigs on Govetts showcase sessions with the Buffalo Grass Boys on Saturday, September 28 from 7.30pm. Free.
The Buffalo Grass Boys are a rocking mix of alt country/rockabilly and bluegrass who hail from Sydney's Inner West and Northern Beaches. They will keep your feet moving with their up tempo steam train style, sweet sweet melodies and loose as live show.
With multi layered harmonies and the band's focus on melody, singers Luke, Phil and Charlie create their own distinct Australian sound vocally.
On Friday, October 4, Jordan McRobbie and Damian Campbell will play from 7.30pm in another free gig.
Progressive folk/roots artist McRobbie has fast become known for his honest voice and virtuosic ability on the 12- and six-stringed guitars, while laying Middle-Eastern and Celtic infused riffs over electronic beats and Latin percussion.
There was a high amount of interest in the first performance and if you missed out on seeing McRobbie the last time around then here is another chance to enjoy him in duo format with drummer/percussionist Damian Campbell.
At Blackheath Bar & Bistro, 35-41 Govetts Leap Rd, Blackheath. Family friendly - minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and supervised.General Admission. Room configuration is a mix of cabaret style tables and chairs and standing.
