Tara Moss is back in the Blue Mountains to launch her new crime novel - Dead Man Switch.
Moss is the bestselling author of 11 books of fiction and non-fiction published in 19 countries and 13 languages. She is a journalist, doctoral candidate at the University of Sydney, public speaker and outspoken advocate for children's rights and women's rights.
Drawing on her experience from hosting the true crime documentary series Tough Nuts - Australia's Hardest Criminals on the Investigation Network and Amazon Prime, and Tara Moss Investigates on the National Geographic Channel, she has returned to crime fiction with a stunning new series and a new heroine. Meet PI Billie Walker: smart, sexy, and with a dash of Mae West humour, she's a hard-boiled detective with a twist.
As a dual Canadian/Australian citizen, Moss is currently living in Vancouver but a lot of her new novel is set in the Blue Mountains, where she also spends a lot of time.
Gleebooks Blackheath is delighted to be hosting an event with Moss, who will be in conversation with another highly regarded local writer, Kate Fagan, on Friday, October 25 at 5pm for a 5.30pm start at The George Boutique Hotel, 194 Great Western Highway, Blackheath. Tickets are essential $20 ($17 concession) and are available at Gleebooks Blackheath (4787 6340).
