IF predictions are right, there's a chance Bathurst 1000 fans and drivers will see some rain on Sunday.
Weatherzone's long range forecast for this week shows there's a 50 per cent chance of up to five millimetres of rain in Bathurst for the Great Race.
The Bureau of Meteorology's MetEye website agrees that rain will fall, but it had some good news for race fans.

The site shows that the most likely times that rain will fall in Bathurst this Sunday will be after the race finishes with rain predicted from 8pm onward.
Earlier in the week there's a higher chance of rain, with a 70 per cent chance of up to 10mm on Friday, and a 90 per cent chance of 5mm on Saturday.
The average rainfall during October for Bathurst is 52.8mm, but so far just 0.2mm has been recorded.
