Plans for 19 units on the highway at Leura are on public exhibition.
The development is at number 8 Great Western Highway, beside the recently completed units on the off ramp into Leura village.
The plans were first lodged in 2011 and consent given in January 2012 but there have been several revisions since to meet council landscaping requirements as well as amendments on stormwater treatment to meet Sydney Water's standards.
The latest incarnation would see three three-storey blocks built, two with frontages to the highway and a third block behind towards the railway line, with basement parking.
Six of the 19 two-bedroom units will be fully accessible for people with a disability, according to the plans.
The development, by a Drummoyne-based company called Boronia Constructions, is on display for public comment until November 20. It can be viewed at https://www2.bmcc.nsw.gov.au/DATracking/Pages/XC.Track/SearchApplication.aspx?id=522323.
