Blaxland pursuit
Police were called to Blaxland about 3.40am on November 7 following a report of males sitting in two vehicles outside Blaxland IGA wearing balaclavas.
On arrival, the officers found a black Volkswagen Golf with its registration plate covered in black tape. A male driver was seen in the vehicle and he drove off, with police in pursuit.
The vehicle turned into the dead end Station Street, then turned around and drove directly at the stationary police vehicle, hitting a rear door and continuing on, Det Insp McAlpine said.
The pursuit was terminated by police. A second vehicle suspected of being involved, a red Volkswagen Golf, was pursued by police for a short period. The car, stolen from Castle Hill, was later found in Emu Plains, after hitting a school fence.
