The Steven Walter Children's Cancer op shops have teamed up with Rotary and the Country Women's Association to raise funds for NSW farmers battling the drought.
On Saturday, November 23, everything bought in one of the Katoomba op shops will go to farmers.
Helen Robertson, who owns the shops - one at 58 Megalong St, the other at 150 Bathurst Rd - said every cent will go to those in need.
She has liaised with Rotary in Narrabri, whose members will distribute the funds to those struggling on the land.
"There will be no administration costs at either end - none here and none there, either," Ms Robertson said.
At the Megalong St store, there will also be a Rotary sausage sizzle and a CWA cake stall. An Australian sapphire and diamond ring will be raffled.
The Megalong St store has a wide range of quality furniture and household goods but also plants, succulents, pots and garden furniture. The op shop on Bathurst Rd also has a large range of top class furniture, toys, giftware, and clothing.
