A Blaxland High School teacher has appeared in court, charged over allegations of sexual assault on two students.
The 49-year-old man is facing six charges, one of which dates back to 2012.
The man allegedly assaulted one girl on several occasions, between 2015 and this month.
It is claimed he forcibly tongue-kissed her last year, when she was 15 years old.
This year, he allegedly touched the girl on the breasts and on another occasion touched her on the buttocks.
He is charged with procuring a child for unlawful sexual activity, aggravated indecent assault of a child under his authority, and three counts of sexually touching another person.
A sixth charge relates to a different student and allegedly occurred on school grounds. The allegation is that in 2012, the teacher held the girl's face with both hands and kissed her on the lips. At the time she was under his authority and they were in the Blaxland High School grounds.
At Katoomba court today [November 18], the man formally entered not guilty pleas to all charges.
Magistrate Fiona Toose granted the accused's application for a non-publication order on his name. The girls' names are also suppressed.
The case will return to court in Penrith on January 17 next year.
The man's bail was continued.
