The Leura Gardens Festival Committee has thanked Blue Mountains Grammar School's senior students who supported the festival as uniformed volunteers for the first time in the 2019.
Certificates of Service were presented to some of the student volunteers by festival president, Brooke Broughton, and volunteer co-ordinator, Glenn Anderson, at the school's final assembly for the year.
In October the students, accompanied by a parent, became the first school volunteers to take part in the joint venture between Blue Mountains Grammar School and the festival.
The students described how they enjoyed the experience of being involved in the festival.
Following the successful collaboration in 2019, school Headmaster, Ian Maynard, and Registrar, Anne Cranna, are very supportive of their senior students being involved in the 2020 festival.
