A 21-year-old man has serious facial injuries after being kicked by a group of men who gatecrashed an 18th birthday party in Warrimoo on December 14.
Four men in their 20s entered the party about 9.50pm at a public hall in Warrimoo.
"When confronted by organisers and requested to leave, the males began damaging property and have assaulted a 21-year-old male by forcing him to the ground and then kicked him as a group," Blue Mountains Police Detective Inspector Scott McAlpine said. He said the 21-year-old was not hospitalised for his injuries.
One man was wearing a grey shirt and had a beard, and they possibly left in a red Commodore. The investigation is ongoing. If anyone has information they can contact Springwood Police Station on 4751 0299 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Home invasion
Three males armed with a shotgun and a knife attempted to enter a house in Carlton Street, Katoomba about 4.20am on December 11.

"The occupant ran through the house and out the front where he attempted to rouse neighbours for assistance without success."
The men again threatened the young man outside his house, before leaving, heading towards Wellington Street.
