Police have issued an amber alert as they search for a one-year-old boy dragged from his mother's arms west of Brisbane.
They say there is a 'significant risk' to the safety of the boy who was taken from the Ipswich suburb of Raceview about 11.30am.
A man was seen pulling the boy from his mother's arms and is believed to have put him in a car.
The car is described as being a black, 2012 Great Wall with registration 617ZCU and was last seen heading south.
