Fabulous Miss Fisher movie is next Rotary Charity night

Miss Fisher and the Crypt of Tears will attract plenty of interest as the next Rotary Charity night at Glenbrook Cinema on March 22.

It seems certain to be the first of many movie productions derived from the very popular, Miss Fisher Murder Mysteries television series.

The series is set in Melbourne in the 1920s and the beautiful and wealthy Miss Fisher (Essie Davis) is noted for her glamourous outfits, cars, aeroplanes and fearless crime solving skills.

Miss Fisher and the Crypt of Tears takes her on a dangerous and thrilling case to Egypt.

Lower Blue Mountains Rotary Charity Nights are conducted with the generous support of Glenbrook Cinema proprietor Ron Curran and are very popular. Regular patrons are urged to book early.

As with past nights, tickets are $20 and include finger food, liquid refreshments and admission to the movie. Proceeds will support Rotary's community/youth projects. Lucky door prizes and costume prizes - best dressed female, male and couple - will be on offer.

Please note the change in telephone bookings with Amanda Roots - 0429 393 095 - responsible for all tickets.

There are two options for payment - online via Lower Blue Mountains Rotary service account - BSB 062 640 ACC #: 00901 789: or cash payment in full at Glenbrook Butchery, 39 Park Street, Glenbrook. All paid tickets are available for collection at the cinema hall door on the night.
