The coronavirus pandemic has meant changes in routine are the norm but for the staff at one Queensland pub it was too much to bear.
So the staff at Canungra Hotel posted a special video - featuring photos of their regulars sitting at the bar, being served their favourite tipple.
Angela Graham and Jess Bartlett have both been worked at the pub for about 11 years. They've grown fond of their customers.
"We wanted to do something funny for the locals and to let them know we miss everybody," Ms Graham said.
"Every time one of them came in to the bottle shop we took their photo but we didn't tell them what it was for.
"They loved the video, they had a good laugh.
"They are in general a fun lot, they're larrikins and they love having a joke."
Ms Graham said the video was meant just for the few locals and no-one expected it to get quite so much attention.
"We are thinking we might have to video an update, some of the customers have fallen over since the first one," she said.
Ms Graham said they were still able to see locals briefly but social distancing rules meant the regular catch-up at the bar was missed by all.
"The bottle shop is still open and we are doing takeaway meals from Wednesday to Saturday nights," she said.
