National Parks and Wildlife Service is planning closures to popular walking tracks in the Blue Mountains National Park.
The track closures affect the Katoomba-Leura area.
On Wednesday October 21 to Friday October 23 (depending on weather) the following areas will be closed to allow a crane to deliver materials for walking track repairs:
- Prince Henry Cliff Walk between Kiah Lookout and Leura Cascades.
- Amphitheatre Track
There will be no access between Katoomba and Leura on the Prince Henry Cliff Walk.
Other works are being completed in the Wentworth Falls area. Track closures took place on Thursday and Friday [October 15 and 16].
Helicopters will be winching in materials to repair the walking tracks.
