The students, staff and community of Blackheath Public School have been working very hard to do their part to help stop the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
And now they have set their safety message to music.
The school has produced a music video, complete with choreographed dance moves from staff and students, for a song about the importance of washing your hands.
"Students and teachers have been practising physical distancing, correct cough and sneeze protocols and, of course, excellent hand washing techniques as suggested by the World Health Organisation," said Blackheath Public School teacher Bonnie Coady.
"Although we have been working so hard we felt like we could do more."
Along with her teacher colleague Christopher Dodds, Ms Coady helped the students get together to create the music video - "to encourage everybody to help stop the spread through the simple act of correctly washing their hands", she said.
