Mayfield Garden has announced that it will be hosting a program of children's activities during the July school holidays.
The school holiday activities coincide with Mayfield's traditional winter garden opening, during which it will open up its full 65-hectare estate to visitors, commencing Saturday, July 4, and finishing Sunday, July 19.
Here are details of the Mayfield school holiday activities:
Free lunch for kids: From Monday, July 6, to Friday, July 10, Mayfield will serve free lunch to children aged 12 years and under with a garden entry ticket. Parents can also enjoy an adult version of its special Mayfield packed lunch by simply adding $10 to the price of an adult entry ticket. Book in advance or order by 11.30am on the day to secure your free lunch.
Mini Mayfielder adventure day: From Wednesday, July 15, to Friday, July 17, children aged five to 12 years are invited to experience a special adventure at Mayfield. Parents can drop off their children at 10.45am and collect them again at 3.00pm once they have completed an art class, eaten lunch and taken a special kids' tour of the garden, including some time in the famous Mayfield maze. All-inclusive $50 per child and $40 for any additional siblings. Numbers limited to 20 a day.
