Springwood Growers Market returned on Sunday, June 28 under new COVID-19 safety conditions. Market-goers were happy wait in a socially-distanced queue to enjoy only their second market of 2020.
The market was held in the forecourt of the Blue Mountains Community Hub and the neighbouring Oriental Hotel.
Market organiser Nicole Riley thanked the Oriental Hotel and The Ori Cafe for letting them use their car park to set the market up.
"It is local businesses helping each other out in tough times," she said.
"Thank you also to the Hub and staff for letting us hire the forecourt - as well as to the community for coming and supporting our opening."
Blue Mountains mayor Mark Greenhill and Federal Member for Macquarie Susan Templeman showed their support by attending the market.
The Blackheath Growers Market will return on July 12.
