The National Basketball League looks to have narrowed down its choices on the name of Tasmania's incoming side.
The NBL has trademarked five names for the league's 10th side, which is set to enter the competition in 2021, with no mention of previous entities the Devils or the Huskies.
To assist in naming the side, the league is still running its naming competition until Friday, August 14, with entrants encouraged to suggest up to three names for the chance to win four season tickets, a signed jersey and a player meet-and-greet experience.
The Tasmanian side, which will be the first in the national competition since the Hobart Devils in 1996, is set to be owned by the NBL and owner Larry Kestelman in its start-up seasons.
