Submissions for the 2021 Blue Mountains Portraits exhibition have opened.
Artists are invited to submit a portrait of any Blue Mountains community member or a person that has strong connections with the Blue Mountains.
Submissions close on Sunday, October 11.
"We encourage a broad range of styles and media such as paintings, photography, drawing, collages and mixed media," said a spokeswoman.
The Blue Mountains City Art Gallery will host the popular Blue Mountains Portraits exhibition from January 23 to March 7 in 2021.
Each year visitors to exhibition have the opportunity vote on a People's Choice Award, worth $1000, and a Student People's Choice Award, awarded $200.
Last year's People's Choice winner was Nick Stathopoulos with his painting of local artist and illustrator Judith Martinez Estrada.
The Student People's Choice winner was Ben Delaney from Blue Mountains Grammar with his work 'Lenny Marks'.
